We have a candidate for the world’s most distracted driver — in terms of quantity, at least.
Vancouver-area law agencies have chronicled the adventures of a middle-aged female driver whose love of texting has led to at least 14 citations.
The woman, who was not identified by name, received her 13th distracted driving ticket from Richmond RCMP over the weekend:

But our distracted dame hadn’t had enough, apparently. This just in from the Vancouver police:

In addition to the fine, distracted drivers in British Columbia now receive three penalty points per infraction, so looks like the clock is ticking, at least, for this texter.
Provincial officials are exploring increased penalties for distracted drivers.
