Fighting driving & texting in style

BMW distracted driving campaign vehicle
U.S. Transportation chief Ray LaHood signs BMW’s Don’t TXT & Drive vehicle, which tours teen driving schools. LaHood inspired the campaign, BMW said Dec. 9. Although BMW stepped up as an ally, LaHood has vowed to rein in interactive devices that automakers are bringing to market. (Photo: Jim Sulley)

  1. Chuck Herr says:

I have young teenager son in high school, and will be driving soon, I think distracted driving laws will help him only if he listen to and read about the laws. I wonder if there is another way to disable the phone when my teenager son, or other teens get inside the car, and start to drive.

  2. I think it is wonderful that Secretary LaHood is involved in this. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know. I am very involved in this issue and would very much like to be involved. Thank you.
